**Overview** We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive. Your role is critical to the success of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and maintaining a seamless dining experience. **Responsibilities** - Greet guests upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to ensure an efficient and enjoyable dining experience. - Take reservations and manage waitlists to ensure guests are accommodated in a timely manner. - Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guests' needs and concerns in a friendly and professional manner. - Assist servers by taking orders, delivering food, and ensuring the dining area is clean and organized. - Manage the front of the house, including managing cash and credit transactions, operating a POS system, and handling guest payments. - Maintain a positive and courteous demeanor, ensuring a high level of hospitality and guest satisfaction. - Assist with the coordination of special events, banquets, and parties. - Provide assistance to guests, including helping with directions and providing information about the restaurant. - Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly. **Requirements** - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Knowledge of restaurant operations and experience in the hospitality industry. - Proficiency in a POS system and familiarity with restaurant software. - Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues. - Experience in guest services, including helping guests with their needs and concerns. - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel setting preferred. **Skills** - Phone etiquette and excellent communication skills. - Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing exceptional guest relations. - Ability to help guests and provide support as needed. - Proficiency in a POS system and experience with restaurant software. - Knowledge of the hospitality industry and experience in guest services. - Experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
