Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations by bussing tables and following sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring positive guest relations at all times.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary experience when applicable.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food service industry or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.00 - $25.02 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
