Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the POS system for order entry.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments using the cash register and ensure accurate handling of transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth communication.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest services.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
