Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or as a Server is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with OpenTable is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards is essential for maintaining a safe dining environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a nightclub or restaurant setting are important for success in this role.
