Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS systems.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining attention to detail regarding presentation and order accuracy.
- Assist with bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for guest checks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary knowledge and service skills.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer relations and guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
