Server Job Description
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Make recommendations and upsell menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Make non-alcoholic beverages including teas, smoothies, juices
- Perform opening and closing server duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to follow sanitation procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
