Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the restaurant's ordering system.
- Serve food and beverages to guests while maintaining a high level of service.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Process payments using cash registers and ensure accurate handling of transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of culinary offerings and restaurant policies to assist guests effectively.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly demeanor to create a welcoming environment.
