Northern Nevada Fire Protection has been providing exceptional service to the greater Reno/Sparks/ Carson City/ Lake Tahoe areas for the past 12 years. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Service Coordinator with experience in the fire protection industry and working knowledge of ServiceTrade software.
Job Overview
In this role the Service Coordinator plays a key part in supporting our service and inspection operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and familiar with the workflows of fire protection companies. You will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth scheduling, dispatching, and invoicing of services using ServiceTrade.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks to support service and inspection departments
- Schedule and coordinate technician appointments, inspections, and follow-ups in ServiceTrade
- Input and maintain accurate customer, job, and asset records
- Ensure inspection reports are complete and accurate, and submit to AHJs as needed.
- Serve as the liaison between technicians, customers, and office staff
- Track and follow up on deficiencies, renewals, and documentation
- Create and schedule service/repair jobs; order materials as required
- Support compliance with NFPA codes and local jurisdiction requirements
- Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, and document management
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the fire protection industry is preferred
- Proficiency with ServiceTrade software is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with NFPA codes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, and backflow inspection processes
- Understanding of repair procedures and material ordering
- Experience with compliance documentation and deficiency tracking
- Knowledge of technician scheduling in a service-based industry
