We provide top-tier installation and service for residential and commercial alarm systems, cameras, life safety (fire) systems, home automation, low-voltage, and audio-video solutions. We are currently seeking a full-time Service Manager to join our growing team and help maintain our high standard of customer care and service response times.


Position Overview:

The Service Manager is responsible for the overall success of the service technician team, blending leadership, operational oversight, and a strong customer-centric mindset. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a high degree of emotional intelligence and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Oversight
  • Holds technicians accountable to schedules, KPIs, and documentation standards
  • Coaches and develops technicians for performance and retention
  • Creates a culture of ownership, responsibility, and follow-through
  • Maintains open lines of communication between field and office
Operational Excellence
  • Ensures daily scheduling and dispatching runs smoothly
  • Manages return trips, parts ordering, and work order completion
  • Oversees calendar accuracy and job documentation compliance
  • Tracks and enforces clock-in/out procedures
Customer-Centric Focus
  • Follows up on customer issues and ensures timely resolutions
  • Reviews open work orders and return visits to prevent customer delays
  • Prioritizes jobs and technician assignments based on customer impact
Revenue & Efficiency
  • Minimizes return visits
  • Ensures accurate job notes and billing information
  • Monitors tech productivity and job profitability
  • Supports upsell opportunities and technician RMR contributions
Reporting & Communication
  • Submits regular updates on team KPIs and job status
  • Communicates clearly with managers and other departments
  • Participates in daily/weekly huddles with useful, actionable insights
Traits & Competencies

  • Proactive mindset with ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Tech-savvy with systems like Alarm Biller, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and more
