JPosition Overview
LGA Garage Door Service is seeking a Service Manager to lead and elevate our customer service, operations coordination, and sales efforts. This role is perfect for a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in organization and reporting, and knows how to bring out the best in a team. You will be the cornerstone of day-to-day operational success—connecting office staff, field technicians, and our customers with confidence and clarity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily coordination of residential and commercial service operations
- Verify the dispatch jobs efficiently while maintaining technician productivity and readiness
- Use advanced Excel skills to create and analyze performance and scheduling reports
- Generate detailed estimates and ensure accuracy in invoicing through Service Fusion
- Maintain job tracking with proper documentation: technician notes, photos, materials, and POs
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly detailed reports to upper management
- Communicate directly with customers to solve issues and coordinate service needs
- Monitor technician/subcontractor job performance and enforce accountability
- Train, mentor, and grow your support team while maintaining a high-performance culture
- Oversee onboarding, attendance tracking, and team discipline as necessary
- Ensure consistent standardization of operations and adherence to company procedures
- Coordinate vendor POs, equipment rentals, and drop shipments efficiently
- Continuously seek product and service knowledge to improve overall team capability
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience with a strong background in team management
- Expert in Microsoft Excel—including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with a mindset for continuous improvement
- Experience in scheduling, dispatching, and CRM systems (Service Fusion preferred)
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a commitment to results

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
