Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming shipments, noting any discrepancies or damages
- Accurately and efficiently process and log incoming and outgoing shipments in the dealership's inventory system
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation and shipping methods are used
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, including disposing of packing materials and keeping storage areas organized
- Communicate with suppliers and other dealership personnel to resolve any shipment or inventory discrepancies
- Regularly update inventory records and reconcile them with physical inventory levels
- Assist in general dealership duties such as parking and moving vehicles as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use dealership-specific inventory software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to independently lift products and packages up to 50 pounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
