Job Overview
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a critical role in our daily operations. You’ll be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with all FDA, ISO, and internal standards. If you’re detail-oriented, dependable, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Prepare, package, and ship outgoing materials and medical devices
- Ensure shipments are properly labeled and documented, including lot/serial number tracking
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and freight carriers
- Work with Quality Assurance for inspection or quarantine of incoming products
- Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP/WMS systems
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
- Follow all company procedures and regulatory guidelines (FDA, GMP)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
- Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, etc.) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with FDA requirements is a plus
- Comfortable using ERP systems and shipping software
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate material handling equipment
- Reliable, organized, and proactive
