The Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Lead will primarily be responsible for properly coordinating receipt of goods, DO shipments and inventory transactions between Mauser, a Third-Party Warehouse, TMC and Worldwide Express. This role will also be responsible for receiving incoming inventory, timely staging and shipping of outgoing orders while adhering to safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines.
- Receive, ship, store, and transfer material for use in manufacturing.
- Perform the related transactions for the stocking of material.
- Daily manage orders and QAD transactions, while maintaining accurate record keeping and receipt entries.
- Verifies accuracy of third-party receipt notification and packing slips.
- Will be required to travel independently to local third-party warehouse as needed.
- Creates distribution orders and performs ship confirmation once shipped from third-party warehouse.
- Overseeing and scheduling receipt of goods between carriers and third-party warehouse, providing all necessary documentation, communication, and dock appointments.
- Coordinates shipment of distribution of orders between third-party warehouse and receiving location.
- Responsible for the scheduling of DO pickups through TMC & Worldwide Express, providing necessary Bill of Ladings to third-party warehouse.
- Assist with a broad range of warehouse tasks, utilizing forklifts, pallet movers, drum dollies and carts. Transport materials to and from production areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Assist Operators with various material handling duties.
- Coordinate, communicate and signal replenishment of material from the various stock locations to production.
- Receive, inspect, store, and properly control the integrity of perishable materials.
- Responsible for inventory counts and inventory transfers and replenishment, from third-party warehouse via Anniston Plant.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory, shipments, and other warehouse operations.
- Performs cycle counts and physical inventory counts as required.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years previous experience of inventory, warehouse, and receiving experience.
- Ability to travel independently to local third-party warehouse as needed.
- Material handling experience, forklift certification required.
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment.
- Effective communication skills necessary to coordinate activities among various parties, including internal and external customers and vendors.
- Basic Math Skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Knowledge of MRP Systems (QAD preferred)
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook email.
Physical Requirements:
- The plant facility runs 24 hours a day, 5 days a week consistently, excluding designated holidays or prearranged shut down.
- The ability to be on feet up to 12 hours per shift.
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and climb to perform duties.
- Use of hands and fingers to perform job function.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. overhead loading product onto trailers.
- Ability to get on and off company equipment, forklift, to load and unload assigned trailers and move products throughout production site.
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
- Vision: 20/20 corrected and normal hearing range
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, 90 plus degrees.
- The ability to wear Mauser required personal protective equipment; safety glasses, hard hat, earplugs, gloves, and any other necessary item based on assigned task.
