Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Manager to oversee daily operations in our repair center. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that the shop runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Supervise and train staff to ensure high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stocking, and merchandising products.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including cashiering and payroll management.
- Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance shop performance.
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions and inventory tracking.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and team management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and retail regulations.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.
- Experience in small engine shop with a focus on sales management and customer service excellence.
- Proficient in inventory management, follow up with orders.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience with a track record of training & development initiatives for staff.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with phone etiquette for customer interactions.
