FRS Clipper is seeking a reliable, energetic, and hardworking Seasonal Shore Support Team Member to join our Street Marketers and waterfront operations team for the summer season. This role is primarily responsible for the daily setup, breakdown, and support of our pop-up tent and booth located on the Seattle waterfront. A great summer job for students!
Overview:
Location: Pier 69, Seattle Waterfront
Position Type: Seasonal / Full-Time & Part-Time schedules available
Dates: Immediate start through end of September
Wage: $21.25
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and break down our pop-up tent and booth at Pier 69 (Clipper terminal) and along the Seattle Waterfront
- Transport supplies and materials between Pier 69 and Pier 62 throughout the day as needed
- Maintain booth organization, signage, cleanliness, and public presentation
- Load, unload, restock booth materials and promotional supplies
- Act as a runner for operational needs between piers and nearby storage or support locations
- When booth operations are not active, assist in general shore support duties at the Clipper terminal, such as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the terminal and public areas
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds safely and repeatedly
- Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods throughout the day
- Willing to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (sun, wind, rain)
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive with strong communication and teamwork skills
- Open to cross-training and supporting other departments when booth is not active
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Schedule:
- Primarily daytime hours, including weekends and holidays
- Early morning start times may be required depending on setup needs
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and assist in multiple operational areas is preferred
