We’re looking for a reliable, organized Show Department Manager to oversee scare actor scheduling, rehearsals, wardrobe and makeup speicalists, and daily performance operations. Reporting to the Show Consultant, you’ll help ensure actors are supported, performances run smoothly, and safety and show quality are maintained throughout the event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage actor schedules, track attendance, and handle shift changes or call-outs.
- Coordinate wardrobe costumes and SFX makeup for each actor. Oversee wardrobe and makeup specialists.
- Create narrative scripts for all actors/performers
- Oversee pumpkin carver show(s)
- Coordinate rehearsals and trainings, ensuring cast communication and attendance.
- Serve as point of contact for scare actors—addressing questions, concerns, and performance needs.
- Monitor performance quality and provide feedback or coaching in line with the creative direction.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and respond to any performer-related issues during the event.
Requirements:
- Experience in stage management, live event coordination, or similar roles
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments
- Availability for evenings, weekends
Preferred:
- Experience in haunted attractions or immersive events
- Basic knowledge of costumes, makeup, or actor logistics
