CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking a proactive and experienced Site Safety Manager to support a complex commercial and industrial construction project in Phoenix, AZ. This role is critical to enforcing and enhancing safety culture on-site while ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local HSE regulations. The Site Safety Manager will act as a key liaison between project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders to coordinate safety efforts across all phases of construction, including mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain CEIS and client-specific safety programs, including Injury/Illness Prevention Plans (IIPPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and high-risk activity permits.
Provide direct HSE oversight for subcontractor activities, including safety coordinator supervision, craft training, case management, and OCIP/CCIP claim tracking.
Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses to prevent incidents and ensure safety readiness.
Lead and document incident investigations, corrective action development, and trend analysis.
Mentor and coach field personnel and construction management to promote a culture of safety accountability.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and client-specific high-risk protocols.
Serve as the primary on-site resource for emergency procedures, including Narcan, AED, CPR, and Mental Health First Aid response.
Partner with general contractors and client safety teams to ensure unified safety objectives are met.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or maintenance safety, preferably in large-scale mechanical or industrial projects.
Minimum 5 years of site-level safety leadership experience.
CHST (preferred), OSHA 510 (required); must hold or obtain OSHA 10 within 30 days of site mobilization.
Certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Mental Health First Aid (required or must obtain).
Competency in NFPA 70E and LOTO procedures.
Experience managing subcontractor safety, incident prevention, and root cause analysis across MEP/civil scopes.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety documentation tools.
Valid driver’s license required.
