Amentum is seeking a Configuration Management Support Specialist as a software engineering intern to support our Naval customers at NSWC Dahlgren.
You will be part of our growing systems & software engineering team and contribute to our diverse skillsets across multiple contracts. We are looking for individuals to join our team atmosphere that are eager to make a difference.
Successful candidates must possess excellent communication skills and interact directly with customers and engineering personnel. The ability to take direction and operate independently, as well as participate in team environments, is necessary for this support effort.
Configuration Management Support Specialist Responsibilities Include:
Providing technical CM support and guidance
Media production
Ensuring the integrity and consistency of multiple CM Change Control Boards (CCBs)
Providing CCB meeting support
Preparing and providing agendas, minutes, notifications, and information packages
Tracking action and decision items
Scheduling and coordinating periodic meetings with software development team
Maintaining status accounting records
Conducting special investigations to include periodic reports from the CM database
Providing summary impact statements as required
Receiving, editing, and distributing reports
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or job-related experience.
Excellent written communication skills; working knowledge of MS-Office and integrated software applications
One-year configuration management experience including data entry and report generation
Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance (at a minimum, must receive/be approved for an interim Secret security clearance in order to start) Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
