Job Description

TuneCore Engineering develops web applications in the music space supporting our talented customers and internal operations.  We’re looking for a Mid level Software Engineer to help build the world’s best digital operations platform for restaurants. Our current technology stack consists mostly of Ruby on Rails and React, but we are always looking to use the tools that are most appropriate for the task at hand.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with designers, product managers, and other engineers to implement new features on our platform
• Contribute clean, clear, high-quality production code
• Contribute unit and integration tests for new and existing features
• Provide effective and constructive feedback on other engineer’s contributions
• Uphold TuneCore’s core mission, vision, and values

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing production code.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
• Experience writing code within the context of a web-based framework such as Ruby, Node, or Python along with an ORM.
• A strong understanding of React.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent industry experience

Where you'll be:

This role will be based out of our Brooklyn, NY office or Remote. TuneCore operates on a hybrid model giving our teams flexibility and choice in how they work. Employees have the option to work from our office 7 days per month on a flexible schedule organized at the department level. Additional Information

Salary: $99,000-$130,000 USD
