We endeavor to make it simple for every organization to collect data in a 1st-Party context and carefully and compliantly route it to 3rd-Party tools or partners. By eliminating the use of 3rd-party tags and moving digital advertising and marketing server-side, our clients not only keep customer data more private and secure but also see a dramatic increase in website performance, which leads to improved SEO, better return on advertising, and increased revenue.


About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our EMEA team. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, guiding, and implementing server-side data feeds for our enterprise clients as well as managing technical escalations that arise. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, server-side technologies, and a customer-centric approach to ensure successful deployment and integration of MetaRouter solutions. You will work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Integration teams to identify new use cases, solutions, and platform capabilities. You will also work closely with CS management, Sales, MetaRouter’s Partners, and others to drive adoption of the MetaRouter platform with our customers. This position reports to the leader of the Customer Success group.


Core Responsibilities

  • The ability to absorb business requirements and build out detailed Solution Briefs that detail the necessary steps, resources, and timelines to achieve the desired solution.
  • Ability to identify and understand different analytics, advertising, and marketing concepts and ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of user behavior tracking and advertising retargeting concepts with the ability to process information required to ensure proper user attribution on customer websites.
  • Strong knowledge of creating and maintaining connections to external data systems such as 3rd-party APIs, data lakes, data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of data storage and identity for native mobile or web applications: cookies, local storage, IDFA, etc.
  • Experience directing individuals in an agile environment towards a common goal, breaking apart complex deliverables to be acted upon by multiple individuals, and expanding the capabilities of the analysts that report to you.
  • When not tasked with projects directly, able to be proactive in improving the process and capabilities of the MetaRouter implementation process to proactively expand our capabilities and leave our offering in a better place.
  • Ability to articulate goals and project requirements to both internal and external stakeholders, updating ticketing information to allow for the asynchronous update of all.
  • Experience conducting training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding and usage of MetaRouter’s platform.
  • Must enjoy documenting and teaching solutions.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in marketing implementation, technical support, solution architecture, and/or customer success roles.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing data insights with front-end or mobile app development that require coordination and enrichment of data to authenticated HTTP APIs.
  • Required knowledge of Browser Technologies and Techniques (Cookies, Query Parameters, etc.), Modern Authentication Mechanisms, and HTTP APIs.
  • Ability to read and write snippets of functional Javascript, Lua, JSON, and YAML.
  • Experience with Tag Management platforms such as Tealium, GTM, Segment, etc.
  • Experience with Digital Advertising platforms such as Google Marketing, Facebook, etc.
  • Understanding the benefits and best practices of modern digital analytics and specialized digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.

BONUS ROUND

  • Experience working with server side tagging.
  • Subject matter expert in paid media or analytics use cases (Google Ads/Analytics/CM360/etc, Adobe, and others).
  • Experience working with traditional and/or composable CDP’s.
