Position Summary:
We are currently looking to staff a case for a elderly woman with Alzheimers worker must speaks spanish. we are looking for 10hrs a week As a Home Health Aide, you will assist our clients in their daily routines and encourage participation in community and home-based activities. This role requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support clients in learning and practicing life skills
- Help facilitate social and recreational activities
- Provide medication reminders and monitor for any changes in health or behavior
- Encourage independence and self-advocacy in a respectful, supportive manner
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment
- Collaborate with family members and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality support
- Meal Prepartion for the client.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials (preferred )
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must speak English fluently.
- Reliable, patient, and emotionally resilient
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if applicable)
- Pass a criminal background check ( Level 2).
- Proof of current TB testing or Chest x-Ray.
- High School Diploma.
