Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative associate to assist Reps, Dealers and end users with product selection, creative layouts and quoting. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial office furniture and a strong eye for design. Proficiency in design software and the ability to think logically and collaboratively to develop tailored product solutions are also essential.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Reps, Dealers, and End Users to understand project requirements, address design goals and functional needs, and present product recommendations design plans.
- Provide expert guidance on product selections and configurations based on client goals, spatial constraints, and company product offerings.
- Use design software (such as CET) to design and illustrate product offerings.
- Assist with generating accurate estimates based on the design plan.
- Serve as a point of contact for client questions and post-sale support, ensuring a smooth experience from design to delivery.
- Provide product specific training and CET training to dealers or Reps as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial office furniture, space planning, or a related industry.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or comparable professional experience.
- Proficiency in CET Designer (or similar CAD-based space planning software).
- Strong visual and spatial design skills with an eye for layout, aesthetics, and function.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of basic quoting/estimating tools and processes.
- This is an in-office job located in San Antonio, Texas.
