Impact Speech Therapy, Inc. is a growing private practice providing child-centered, evidence-based services in speech, language, and cognitive wellness. We support families through in-home visits and in-clinic therapy at our Chico location, with a collaborative, whole-child approach.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time or per diem Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This role involves delivering speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed SLP, with sessions held in-home, in preschool settings, and at our Chico clinic. Services are provided in natural environments within Butte County and surrounding areas.
This position may turn into a full-time opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to pediatric clients under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement treatment plans and document progress
- Travel to client homes, preschools, and the clinic as needed
- Support family education and caregiver communication
- Maintain accurate session notes and timely documentation
Qualifications:
- Active California SLPA license
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with early intervention or preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor and a team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaborative care
