Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Data & AI leader, responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for democratizing data and artificial intelligence across the enterprise at Sandisk. This role is pivotal in transforming the business through data-driven decision-making, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. This senior member of IT leadership team will oversee the development, governance, and optimization of data assets while fostering a data-driven culture and aligning data capabilities with organizational goals.

This role is central to enabling digital transformation, ensuring the organization leverages data and AI as strategic assets to drive growth, efficiency, and innovation

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Leadership: Define, lead, and execute enterprise-wide data and AI strategies aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

· Data & AI Governance: Establish and oversee frameworks for data quality, stewardship, compliance (e.g., GDPR), and responsible AI use.

· AI & Analytics Enablement: Drive the adoption and operationalization of AI/ML capabilities, including generative AI, predictive/prescriptive analytics, and data visualization.

· Data Architecture: Lead the development of scalable, secure enterprise data architectures and platforms, including cloud-based environments and data lakes.

· Data Infrastructure and Technology: Design and oversee scalable data infrastructure aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

· Business Value Realization: Identify and deliver data-driven opportunities for monetization, efficiency, and competitive differentiation; measure and communicate business impact.

· Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with business and technology leaders to align data initiatives with corporate strategy and ensure successful implementation of solutions.

· Team Leadership: Mentor and develop high-performing teams of data and AI professionals; foster a culture of innovation and best practices.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary advisor to executive leadership on data and AI topics; facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive briefings.

· Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends in data, AI, and digital transformation; guide the organization’s innovation pipeline.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Enterprise Architecture, or related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).

· 15+ years of experience in data management, enterprise architecture, and analytics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

Skills and Competencies

· Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and data governance.

· Strong knowledge of data architecture, big data platforms, and cloud-based solutions.

· Experience integrating data systems into enterprise-wide architectures.

· Advanced understanding of machine learning, AI, and business intelligence tools.

· Proven leadership and strategic planning capabilities.

· Excellent stakeholder communication and project management skills.
