As a Senior Governance Engineer you will develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, and security across an organization. You will also lead initiatives related to data management and compliance. This role involves collaborating with various teams, including engineering, manufacturing, product, supply chain, IT and data stewards, to establish and maintain effective data governance practices. You will have a good understanding of business process, analyze transactional data and identify opportunities to improve logistics operation efficiency.

You Will:

Data health checks and metrics for the plant /warehouse.
Identify Process vs systems gaps and work with Process owners & Enterprise team to fill the gap.
Master data /configuration issue notification and ticket generation.
Work with Plant logistics operation and material flow engineer for any systems/process change.
Master data creation & maintenance for plant and logistics operations center.
Able to work with cross-functional team and lead projects for the department.
Support Plant Logistics operations team with transaction and systems error.
Data analytics and master data in-consistency check on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Cut over support during new product launch and phases.
Support training team in creating job aids and SOP’s.
Support inventory team during physical inventory.
Work with Manufacturing Engineers, Supplier quality engineers and Rework teams for process flow understanding and master data setup.
Participate in UAT testing and scenario development for new functionality deployment.

You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Engineering/Computer Science or other related fields required
5 years of work experience in automotive/manufacturing or related field.
Good understanding of SAP Master Data such as Material Master, MRP different views, Material Planning, Production Planning, and impacts, EWM and MM product Master etc.
Good understanding of manufacturing, Service, and logistics business processes.
5 years of hands-on experience in Master Data Maintenance such as Material master, EWM Product Master, Kanban Control Cycles etc.
Able to lead projects/programs with cross functional teams and deliver projects on time.
Good understanding of SAP S4 HANA and Fiori apps.
Good understanding of automotive Material Flow process and required Master Data. Understand flow of material and the material handling equipment that support system setup for efficiency and safety.
Good understanding of Bill of Materials, Routing, Production Supply Area and material master field function and impact to the business.
Analytical skills with ability to comb through data to identify the root cause for gaps/ errors.
Able to create and understand value stream map for the business process improvement.
High level configuration and troubleshooting knowledge to resolve SAP issues.
Hands on experience with SAP EWM, MM and PP preferred.
