Our full-time (up to 40 hours/week) Dishwasher Kitchen Steward position is responsible for washing dishes, china ware, flatware, cutlery and kitchen vessels as well as cleaning & detailing equipment. Expectations for Dishwasher include sweeping/mopping floors and general cleaning duties throughout the location, both interior and exterior.
This job may require early starts and/or late finishes. This job is well-suited for efficient & reliable individuals who enjoy a pivotal role with the stamina and physical ability to lift heavy items.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform duties of Dishwasher Kitchen Steward as requested; Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans - using dishwashers or by hand
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Sort and remove trash; Clean garbage cans with water or steam
- Sweep, mop or scrub floors; Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators
- Receive and store supplies; Assist with loading or unloading trucks that transport food and/or supplies
- Perform other detailed cleaning duties and team assistance as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to manually move, lift, carry, pull, and/or push heavy objects and materials
- Ability to walk and stand for long durations; Also, to stoop, kneel, bend, and/or reach repeatedly.
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays; Flexibility will be necessary
- Ability to read safety procedures, and operating guidelines & instructions in English
