AuSable Riverview Resort – Job Description
Join the team at AuSable Riverview Resort, a scenic, family-friendly getaway located on the beautiful AuSable River. We're looking for a reliable, motivated individual to help with daily operations, including housekeeping, guest services, retail, maintenance, and reservations. This is a hands-on role that offers variety and the chance to work in a relaxed outdoor setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare cabins (kitchen, bathroom, living areas, linens)
- Assist customers in the market: checkout, restocking, coffee service, cleaning
- Place orders for liquor, wine, beer, and food
- Perform light maintenance: mowing, weed whacking, hedge trimming, minor repairs
- Handle reservations online and by phone
AuSable Riverview Resort – Job Responsibilities
Housekeeping
- Clean cabins multiple times per week, including:
- Kitchen
- Living room
- Bathroom
- Bedroom
- Wash and manage cabin laundry and linens
Customer Service & Retail
- Greet and assist customers in the market
- Operate the cash register and process transactions
- Restock shelves and inventory as needed
- Brew and serve coffee
- Clean and maintain the market area
Inventory & Ordering
- Place and manage orders for:
- Liquor
- Wine
- Beer
- Food and supplies
Maintenance
- Perform routine landscaping tasks:
- Mowing
- Weed whacking
- Hedge trimming
- Handle minor repairs and general upkeep
Reservations & Communication
- Make and manage cabin reservations:
- Online booking system
- Phone reservations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
