General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing life space management, restorative practices, and counseling to adolescents as well as performing a number of duties to develop, coordinate, instruct, and supervise program activities for the Center Day Treatment Program
  • Provides life space management and counseling to adolescents
  • Plans and leads all group activities for assigned group
  • Provides recommendation to supervisor concerning client care situations as required or needed
  • Leads individual and/or group programming sessions, including life-space counseling

Education/Training: A High School diploma or equivalent required. BS or BA in human services preferred. Successful completion of Pennsylvania DHS Medication Administration course. Behavior Certified Training (Functional Behavioral Analysis Training, Behavioral Intervention Plan Training), Restorative Practices Training within first year of employment or equivalent required.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in behavioral health, addictions treatment and/or juvenile justice required.

ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license
