Position Description
Looking to hire for summer with the possibility to continue in the fall.The Office Assistant for the Student Financial Services (SFS) and Admissions offices serves as the first point of contact for all visitors to the building. This student staff member is responsible for creating a welcoming environment by greeting and assisting students, families, staff, faculty, and other guests. Office Assistants help manage the flow of foot traffic and support the administrative functions of both offices through a variety of tasks and projects. This position emphasizes professionalism, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills.
Front Desk and Administrative Support:
- Welcome and assist all individuals who enter the building, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate staff or resources
- Provide general information about office hours, services, and policies
- Support office staff with administrative tasks such as organizing materials, preparing mailings, scanning and filing documents, and assisting with special projects
- Help maintain a clean and organized front desk and shared spaces
- Manage sign-in procedures and visitor tracking as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Pay Rate: $15.50
