We’re hiring an organized and motivated Studio Coordinator who will bring their interest in the arts and passion for customer service to the next generation of musicians and their families.
At ATL Music Lessons, we provide in-studio, in-home music, and at-school music lessons for students ages 4 and up. We’re kid-friendly; not campy. These are not your grandmother’s lessons and we pride ourselves on that.
The Studio Coordinator will have the opportunity to help bring music into the lives of kids and adults across Atlanta, as well as make a substantial impact on growing a local small business.

Role:
The Studio Coordinator will assist the Studio Manager, Community Manager, and Director by helping with administrative and customer service oriented tasks. The position is primarily in-person at our studio in downtown Decatur.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about small business, a music lover, enjoy working in a startup environment, and interested in growing with us and expanding their role over time.
The Studio Coordinator will be needed for approximately 10-20 hours per week with shifts from 3:15-7:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Compensation:
$15.50-19.00/hr, hourly non-exempt employee

Responsibilities:
As the Studio Coordinator, you will:
- Serve as the ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of the company and will treat both potential and current clients with warmth, humor, and respect at the studio, via phone, text, and email
- Prepare the studio for that day’s lessons by setting up and testing equipment
- Tidy and maintain the studio between lessons and at the end of the working day
- Assist with the starting and ending of each session, which includes parent-studio pickup, helping people if they’re lost and need to get into the building, directing a student to the bathroom, calling and texting no-shows, taking attendance, etc.
- Take inventory and replenish supplies
- Handle scheduling requests from both clients and staff, coordinate appointments, and arrange subs
- Respond to incoming leads and potential clients through our website or any other marketing channels
- Onboard new clients by guiding them through the signup process, and off-boarding clients who choose to end lessons
- Maintain and organize communication channels based on company best practices
- Use the company’s billing and scheduling software to help resolve payment and scheduling disputes with clients
- Respond to questions regarding studio policies from both clients and staff
- Collaborate with the Studio Manager and Director to plan special events such as recitals, competitions, raffles, etc.
Qualifications:
- Tech savviness
- Experience working with a team in a digital and in-person environment
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of the Atlanta metro area and general traffic patterns for scheduling in-home lessons
- Already living in the Atlanta area, preferably close to our studio in Decatur
- Access to reliable transportation, internet, and cell service
- Ability to track projects, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively and professionally
- Understanding of music or experience in education is strongly preferred, but not required
- Available at least three days per week, Monday through Friday, from 3:15-7:30pm
- The desire to grow with us and stay with us long term
