The position in a nutshell:
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated IT Specialist (Level 1/2) to provide on-site technical support for a client operating across two locations. The role will require travel between the two sites, with the workweek typically divided between both locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support to end users across both locations;
- Respond to and resolve technical issues according to ticket procedures and SLAs;
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues;
- Document all work completed in ticketing system as per procedures;
- Deliver high-quality support while taking full ownership of incidents and service requests until resolution;
- Coordinate with our internal IT team or partners when necessary.
Qualifications and technical skills:
- Solid work experience in IT support (minimum 2 years);
- Fluency in English is a must (written and spoken);
- Experience working with Windows servers (minimum one year);
- Experience in network administration;
- Reliable transportation required for travel between client sites;
- Strong communication skills and a quick learner;
- Demonstrates interest in and ability to learn new and emerging technologies.
A plus:
- You are either self-taught or hold a college/university certificate or degree in relevant fields;
- You have the CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, NSE, and/or other certifications;
- Experience working at an MSP.
