Supervisor of Payment Posting and Reimbursements -Full Time- Days

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Fayetteville, North Carolina Corporate Revenue Cycle System & Support Management Days (United States of America) Responsible for posting VRS Physician payment posting, Balance and reconcile all monies for all CBO entities, prepare weekly and monthly wire reports for journal entries for all entities. Refund and or wire money as appropriate. Prepare reports to Finance monthly. Responsible for proper supervision of employees. Counsel and coach employees as needed.Prior Supervision experience preferred. Two years of prior systems related experience in financial/business or clinical application systems is preferred. Must have a minimum of five year’s experience in a hospital business office and possess strong accounting and analytical skills. Prefer knowledge and experience in electronic data interchange as it pertains to electronic transactions processed from insurance companies to providers. PC experience to include Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience; Numerical ability required to verify accuracy, clerical perception required to detect errors in computation and posting. Medical terminology and knowledge of third party payors is desirable.Near visual acuity required reading various records and keying of data quickly and accurately. Motor coordination and finger dexterity required. Good communication skills both oral and written.
