Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and optimize the entire flow of goods, services, information, and finances from raw materials to the end customer, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing procurement and vendor relationships, overseeing production and inventory levels, optimizing logistics and production planning, analyzing data to identify improvements, and fostering collaboration across departments and external partners.
Duties
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee purchasing and logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of products and materials.
- Manage inventory levels through effective inventory control and MRP systems.
- Utilize ERP systems such as Netsuite for efficient resource planning.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for process improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production planning and demand forecasting.
- Analyze supply chain data using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to drive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with lean manufacturing principles to optimize resource utilization.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and oversee procurement activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics roles.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain analytics and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
