Sushi Chef or Sushi Line Helper
About the Role
Intracoastal Fisheries Hospitality Group is looking for a Sushi Chef or an Hourly Sushi Chef Helper to join our rapidly expanding seafood operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in the sushi service industry (seeking 2+ year experience/1+ Sushi Chef Helper) and will be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Sushi Chef is responsible for setting up the station with all necessary tools, make nigri/sashimi, break down fish, and hire/train sushi team members. You will work directly with the Sushi Director and team to ensure quality food is prepared according to Intracoastal Fisheries Hospitality Group standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing menu items per sushi recipe menu according to Intracoastal Fisheries Hospitality Group standards
- Ensure great presentation by following our sushi presentation standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times
- Follow all health and safety standards
- Work safely around equipment and maintain proper sanitation at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sushi Director / Exec Chef
Experience
- You have worked in the sushi service industry for at least 2 years
- You have worked at least 1 year as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Chef helper
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
