As an Aquatics Lead, you will be working with the management team to help us create a fun yet professional environment, providing our customers and their children with a great learning experience. You’ll work closely with the franchise owner, general manager and our swim instructors to help shape our school’s culture and commitment to running a smooth operation.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, however weekend availability is a must. Must have reliable transportation.
COMPENSATION:
Part-time with opportunity to move to full time.
Pay: From $16 -$18 per hour depending on experience
This role can quickly add responsibility and compensation as the company grows.
CURRENT POOL HOURS:
Must be able to work week days in afternoon and weekends.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to pool in Austell, GA 30106
- Teach the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as a lead instructor
- Provide the training and onboarding for new swim instructors based on the established BSS swim curriculum.
- Use BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality across pools
- Evaluate swim instructor performance and create performance improvement plans as necessary
- Offer guidance and support when managing difficult class situations
- Assist with business growth and attracting new customers
- Ensure classes are running smoothly and customers are happy
- Assist in staff and class scheduling
- Manage and maintain onsite inventory
WE ARE LOOKING FOR (a plus, but not required):
- Experience in the world of swimming and fitness teaching/management – A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required
- Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival
- Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a service business – especially if its child related
