Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Pool Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in pool maintenance, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, making it essential for the candidate to possess mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform equipment repairs as needed.
Duties
- Operate and maintain pool cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and tools.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise with pool systems or equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service performed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role related to pool maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and maintain various types of equipment.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in maintenance tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
