Job Summary
The Technician role involves maintaining and repairing cars/truck to ensure optimal functionality within the organization. The Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintenance tasks. Established yet growing business needs a well rounded tech for all types of repairs on a wide variety of makes/models. Busy shop with plenty of work, different pay scales/plans depending on skill level. Heated/air conditioned, up to date and clean shop. All modern diagnostic equipment and shop tools.
Duties
- Maintain and repair cars/trucks and equipment
- Interpret schematics and logic controllers to diagnose problems accurately
- Apply mechanical knowledge to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble components
-2 plus years experience preferred/ASE certs a plus but not required
Skills
- Proficiency in English to understand manuals and communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain equipment using best practices
- Understanding of schematics and logic controllers for troubleshooting purposes
- Mechanical knowledge to fabricate, assemble, and disassemble components
-Basic tool for the job required, many shop tools available if needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
