About the Role: We’re hiring a Test Hole Crew (Vacuum Excavation / Potholing) to join our growing field team performing private utility locates for contractors, developers, and infrastructure projects. You’ll use advanced tools like GPR, EM locators, and GPS units — all provided. This is a boots-on-the-ground field position with steady work across Houston. We’re looking for someone reliable, self-motivated, and ready to work outdoors in a high-demand industry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform private utility locating using GPR and EM locating equipment
- Accurately document underground facilities with GPS-based mapping tools
- Communicate clearly with clients and project managers on-site
- Ensure safe digging practices and damage prevention on all jobs
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working outdoors
- 1+ year experience preferred in locating, GPR, or related fields
- Must be based in or near Houston
