Job Summary: Test and repair products by performing the following duties with close supervision.
Job Duties: Job duties include the following:
- Test subassemblies, assembled products, and sensor cables according to test procedures, which will include some outdoor work.
- Use schematics to troubleshoot to component level and repair products.
- Inspect work and maintain a record of product testing and time spent on various jobs.
- Perform basic department duties as required when the supervisor is not present.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
- Requires knowledge of electronic fundamentals
- Working knowledge of basic electronic test equipment
- Ability to follow complex written and verbal test procedures
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel preferred
Education:
Associate Degree in Electronics or four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform bench work (seated and standing) of a repetitive nature
- Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination to operate small equipment or tools safely
- Requires periodic work outside in extreme weather conditions
