Digital Consultants seeks a Theater Vulnerability Analyst to support the Headquarters PACAF Cybersecurity Office by delivering command-wide visibility and actionable insights into the cybersecurity posture of PACAF NIPRNet and SIPRNet environments. This SME-level role is responsible for vulnerability analysis, system health monitoring, compliance reporting, and providing technical guidance to base-level cyber teams. The Analyst plays a key role in PACAF’s Theater Vulnerability Management program and supports readiness for higher headquarters inspections (CORA/CCORI) and internal assessments (CRR-M).
Location: Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI
Duties to include:
- Analyze vulnerability data and cyber posture reports across PACAF AOR
- Review and report on ACAS/Nessus scan results; provide fix action guidance
- Monitor and report health of Microsoft SCCM and MECM infrastructures on NIPR/SIPR
- Assess status and effectiveness of Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Trelix)
- Produce reports and metrics on patch compliance, vulnerability scores, and asset coverage
- Conduct cyber trend analysis and compile command-wide vulnerability indicators
- Mentor base cyber teams through remote or on-site engagements
- Maintain PACAF’s ACAS, ELICSAR, PROD, and AFNET Compliance Tracker accounts
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc vulnerability and posture reports for senior leadership
- Interface with ISSMs, cybersecurity technicians, and MAJCOM staff
- Augment CRR-M readiness teams as required
- Assist the Government with contract documentation, travel coordination, and reporting deliverables
Requirements
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance
- Certifications: DoD 8140, the DoD Cyber Workforce Manual Anyone (1) of the following:
- CISM or CISSO or CPTE or CySA+ or FITSP-A or GCSA or CISA or CISSP or CISSP-ISSEP or GSLC or GSNA or DoD 8570.1-M certified at IAT Level 3 - Anyone (1) of the following: CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate) or CCSP
- Have 2-3 years of experience of applying, assessing, and advising MAJCOM staff and Wings on cybersecurity requirements.
- Have 2-3 years of experience and the skills required to execute Federal, National, DoD, USAF CIO, and US State Department Requirements to be able to assess cyber risk, identify mission sets, and defend the mission.
- Understand the AF Cyber architecture and PACAF MOBs and GSUs roles.
- Ability to travel to PACAF MOBs and GSUs to conduct duties and responsibilities -at a maximum up to 40% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools. Expertise in the following DoD, AF, DISA, NIST, NIAP and PACAF processes:
- 3-4 years of experience of DoD approved Scanning Tools (e.g., ACAS)
- 3-4 years of experience of Microsoft SCCM & MECM
- Familiarization of End Point Security Point Product requirements
- Ability to analyze and develop cyber vulnerability information into an understandable presentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools to build trend analysis.
- In-depth experience with DISA STIGs and by-product analysis.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a cyber discipline.
