Job position description:
We are seeking a Toddler Teacher who is exceptional, dedicated, fun, and ready to make a difference for our Toddler classroom. As a toddler teacher you will carry out lesson plans that are age appropriate. Collaborate with co- teacher to plan and coordinate classroom activities. Use structured-based learning strategies to introduce early concepts (colors, shapes, numbers, language). Encourage creativity through music, movement, and art. Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Support emerging independence and self-help skills (e.g., hand washing, putting on shoes). Be able to implement conscious discipline strategies into your classroom. Support a positive, inclusive classroom culture. Must have patience, creativity, and strong communication skills. Ensure constant supervision and safety of toddlers. Attend to children's basic needs (diapering, feeding, hygiene). Monitor children's health and well-being; respond appropriately to accidents or illnesses. Build positive relationships with families; provide daily updates and ongoing communication. You will maintain a learning environment that is clean, safe and inviting for our young learners. Maintain accurate attendance and incident records. Follow all state licensing regulations, health & safety policies, and school guidelines. Attend various staff development trainings and above all be a team player.

What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with toddlers (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification from NSC (or willingness to obtain)
- High School diploma or equivalent or higher or obtaining Early Childhood Education
- A minimum 6 months working in a licensed child care center.
- Ability to meet all licensing requirements-DSS background check, medical assessment, TB test etc.
