Torch Cutter Needed
Responsibilities:
- Operate oxy-acetylene cutting torches to cut various types of steel and metal
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Measure and mark materials before cutting
- Perform grinding or finishing as required after cutting
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company procedures
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a torch cutter or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and cutting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Basic math and measuring skills
Pay:$14.00+ (DOE)
Hours: Day shift Monday-Friday
