Training Developer
The Training Developer is a skilled instructional designer and facilitator, responsible for creating and delivering impactful learning experiences that enable successful adoption of new systems, processes, and initiatives. This role involves conducting needs assessments, designing comprehensive curricula, developing diverse training materials, and delivering engaging sessions. The developer ensures that all training empowers participants with the necessary knowledge and skills, maximizing program effectiveness and user proficiency.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps, skill requirements, and learning objectives for various target audiences.
Design and develop comprehensive training curricula, modules, and a variety of learning materials, including presentations, user guides, e-learning courses, quick reference guides, and job aids.
Apply adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and multimedia tools to create highly engaging, interactive, and effective learning experiences.
Deliver training sessions through diverse modalities, such as in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, webinars, and self-paced e-learning platforms.
Develop and implement robust assessment strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs, participant comprehension, and skill transfer.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, project teams, and technical specialists to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and currency of all training content.
Continuously update and revise training materials to reflect system enhancements, process changes, and feedback gathered from participants and stakeholders.
Provide ongoing support, coaching, and resources to users post-training, addressing questions, reinforcing learning, and promoting continuous improvement.
Evaluate feedback from training participants and stakeholders to iteratively refine and enhance training programs and delivery methods.
Manage all training logistics, including scheduling, coordination of resources, material preparation, and distribution, ensuring a seamless learning environment.
Certifications:Certifications in Instructional Design (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications), Adult Learning, or Training and Development are highly valued.
Experience required:3+ years of dedicated experience in instructional design, training development, or a closely related role, with a focus on technical or complex subject matter.
Proven ability to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs for diverse professional audiences.
Proficiency in instructional design software, e-learning authoring tools, and experience with learning management systems (LMS).
Excellent presentation, facilitation, and verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in creating a variety of training materials, including digital, print, and interactive formats.
