Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Transportation Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from our group facility setting in a timely, respectful, and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be punctual, have excellent driving skills, and be comfortable interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those in recovery or behavioral health programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients to and from the group facility and/or designated locations.
- Maintain an accurate daily transportation log.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist clients in and out of the vehicle as needed, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, staff, and supervisors.
- Report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and organizational protocols.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold HIPAA standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (DMV report may be required).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar transportation or client-facing role preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations (preferred).
