Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their orders.
- Operate the POS system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including dining spaces and food preparation stations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Handle cash register transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
CREW MEMBER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer.
- Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards.
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food.
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations.
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café.
- Follows the steps to operate the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer.
- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions and managing inventory is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary.
- Experience in sales or customer service roles will be advantageous for this position.
