Summary
We are currently seeking an Ultrasonographer to join our team at the Center for Diabetes & Metabolic Disorders. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering outstanding healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures while providing clear instructions.
- Maintain accurate records of ultrasound findings and communicate results effectively with the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Follow aseptic techniques and maintain cleanliness in the ultrasound area.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of sonography principles, medical terminology, and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
- Familiarity with EMR systems is preferred; strong computer skills are essential.
