Chesley Brown International is currently interviewing candidates for Unarmed Security Officer positions in the Atlanta area. We are looking for sharp, professional, and reliable individuals who are committed to providing excellent service and maintaining a safe environment.
As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining a visible presence, monitoring for suspicious activity, enforcing site policies, and responding calmly and effectively to incidents as they arise.

Key Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; additional security or criminal justice training is a plus.

Valid State Security Officer License/Guard Card, if applicable.

At least 18 years of age (or 21 depending on site requirements).

Minimum of 2 years of previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred

Professional appearance and demeanor; must be well-groomed and in proper uniform.

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Customer service mindset with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.

Ability to walk, stand, and/or patrol for extended periods and work in various environmental conditions.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Basic computer literacy for report writing and incident documentation.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a visible and professional security presence to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior) to ensure the safety and security of the premises.

Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance equipment as required.

Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, following company protocols.

Document all incidents and suspicious activity accurately in daily reports.

Enforce site-specific rules, regulations, and client policies consistently and respectfully.

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.

Control access to buildings or restricted areas by verifying identification and credentials.

Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or other concerns to appropriate personnel.

Work collaboratively with site supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when needed.
