Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
Skills:
Must have your own vehicle
- Loss prevention: Knowledge of techniques and strategies to prevent theft, vandalism, and other forms of loss
- Surveillance: Ability to effectively monitor and observe activities through CCTV systems or other surveillance equipment
- Certificate: Possession of a valid security guard license or certification (if required by state or local regulations)
- Law enforcement: Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and procedures related to security operations
- Conflict management: Skill in deescalating conflicts and resolving disputes in a calm and professional manner
- Militarize: Ability to follow instructions, adhere to protocols, and maintain a disciplined approach to security duties
- CCTV: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems
- CPR: Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques (preferred)
- First aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to provide immediate medical assistance if needed
