We are searching for candidates that can work hours that range between the hours of 11 AM and 8 PM and alternating weekends. If you have flexibility, even better!!!
We offer a great working environment in retail, assisting medical and culinary professionals find uniforms to meet their work needs. This is not the typical kind of retail job. Most of our customers are working professionals. However, we need someone that is flexible and can go far beyond the duties of a retail clerk.
At Scrubs By Design, our team does it all. We are a small business and offer the personal touch/appreciation to our employees. College & High School students are also urged to apply.
Sales Floor Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet customers, modeling a positive customer service spirit, exhibiting a friendly and helpful attitude with customers and coworkers.
- Answer customer questions regarding products and services; assist customers with buying decisions.
- Operate cash registers to complete customer transactions.
- Display merchandise and maintain a clean shopping area to maximize store appeal.
- Assist in keeping the store clean and organized to ensure a great customer service experience.
- Assist in the receiving and of new merchandise from vendors.
- Prepare merchandise for the selling floor.
- Assist in minimizing loss of company assets.
- Contribute to team efforts.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Inventory management – ensure computer records match physical store inventory.
- Create Purchase Orders for customers using Excel and the POS system.
- Email correspondences to customer inquiries regarding service and products offered.
Qualifications:
- Preference to flexible work schedules that consist of a mix of afternoon, early evening and weekend schedules.
- 2 year applicable retail/customer service work experience.
- Ability to work 4 Hour and/or 8 Hour shifts as needed and/or necessary.
- Reliable transportation.
- Prefer familiarity and comfort working with computers.
- Positive attitude and enjoys teamwork and encourages cooperation while working with others.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Light-to-moderate physical effort required; standing and walking will constitute 95% or more of a work shift to include stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
