We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Utility / Dishwasher to join our team in Mystic, CT. This is a full-time shift from 9am - 5pm. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly.
Duties:
- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean work area
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Sort and remove trash and garbage from the kitchen
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a restaurant, catering or culinary environment preferred
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
